Parent Teacher Conference Night Potluck!
Tuesday November 15th
Hello Parents! We need some help providing our teachers with a nice meal after a long day of teaching and nurturing our children, then providing us with conferences. We are looking for parents to help thank our teachers with the following items. Please consider signing up. All food needs to be at the school by 4:00PM so the teachers have time to eat before conferences start.

AFSTEMPTO Fall Lyman Pie & Cookie Dough Fundraiser!
Our school needs your help raising funds for teacher’s week and students! Our goal is to raise $2,500 or
more. We will be offering Classic cookie dough, and delicious Lyman Orchards fruit pies. Products are
delicious premium frozen foods that buyers will truly enjoy! Frozen products will be delivered at the
SCHOOL ONLY on Thursday, November lOth for pickup starting 10:30 a.m. until end of school. All
orders will need to be picked up on that day as the school does not have access to any freezers and there
is no school the next day! Any pies not picked up will be DONATED! Use the attached forms to gather
orders and return them to the Main Office with payments to school by Friday, October 7th or place your
entire order ONLINE by Thursday, October 13th at midnight! We will be looking for volunteers to help
separate and fill the frozen orders on Thursday morning and parents to drop off coolers for their large
orders! Be on the lookout for Sign-Up Genius volunteer note!

PTO Nomination Committee
Hello Annie Fisher Family!
The PTO is looking for two volunteers to fill out the three-person nomination committee for our upcoming elections in May. The responsibilities as per the PTO bylaws are listed as follows.
The nominating committee members will immediately publicize a request for candidates for each PTO office in the next issue of the school newsletter or other school publication.
1. The nominating committee will verify the authenticity of each name submitted as to eligibility and willingness to serve.
2. If no names are received for an office, the nominating committee will issue a second request for that position.
If there is more than one candidate for an office, the nominating committee will send a written ballot to each PTO member at the May meeting.
1. The ballots will be kept confidential
2. The votes will be counted by the three members of the nominating committee at the end of the meeting.
3. The nominating committee will notify each candidate about the election results. Whoever receives the majority of votes will be the elected officer.
Much of this process has been moved to electronic format. Committee members must be willing to do the following:
1. Receive nomination emails and/or forms and record the names of each nominee.
2. Contact each nominee to verify that they are both eligible and willing to serve.
3. If necessary, create a ballot for the election. (The PTO will help create the electronic ballot.)
4. Receive and tally the votes
5. Announce the winner(s).

**IMPORTANT MUNSON’S FUNDRAISER ANNOUNCEMENT CHANGE**
Forms sent home have Easter Products listed, but we have been informed that due to a misprint on the Munson Chocolate Fundraiser flyer the deadline for ordering Easter Chocolate was March 17th. Unfortunately, that means that the Easter chocolates are not available for this sale. Sorry for the inconvenience!

PTO Volunteers
The PTO is looking for volunteers. This years officers election will be held at the October PTO meeting the evening of October 20th. All positions are open. The nomination form is included here and was also sent out by Vice Principal McCown in yesterday’s STEM Scoop. All nomination forms must be returned by 4:15 PM Friday October 9th. Forms can be emailed to the PTO or sent into the main office, instructions are in the form. You don’t need to be an officer to be a member, anyone can join. We look forward to seeing everyone!
